With all of these hectic schedules, their activeness in the K-pop industry can only lead to exposure that creates buzz. For the month of August, the Korean Business Research Institute has officially announced their brand reputation rankings for all K-pop idols.
The results on this list were derived from several factors such as the idols' coverage in the media, the participation of consumers, and overall exposure that can add to popularity. According to the institute, the list was cover from July 24 to August 24.
Here are the 10 most popular K-pop idols in August 2023!
1. NewJeans Minji
Minji of NewJeans took the No. 1 spot with a brand reputation index of 4,616,273, and an overwhelming score increase of 124.30 percent. As for her positivity-negativity analysis, Minji received a score of 93.97 percent positive reactions.
2. BTS Jungkook
Jungkook made it on second place by gaining a brand reputation index of 4,415,051.
3. NewJeans Hanni
Hanni claimed the third place with an impressive 171.75 percent score rise and a brand reputation index of 4,032,937.
4. NewJeans Haerin
Haerin followed through her bandmate in the fourth place after seeing a brand reputation index of 3,991,467. The idol also earned 195.90 percent score increase.
5. BTS Jimin
Jimin completed the top five with a brand reputation index of 3,671,188.
6. BLACKPINK Jisoo
Jisoo made it with a brand reputation index of 3,554,902.
7. BTS V
V continued the list by placing in the No. 7 spot with a brand reputation index of 3,418,354.
8. NewJeans Hyein
NewJeans' maknae Hyein secured the eighth place with a brand reputation index of 3,221,402.
9. NewJeans Danielle
Danielle claimed the No. 9 spot with a brand reputation index of 3,059,545.
10. Former Wanna One Kang Daniel
Finally, we have former Wanna One member Kang Daniel, who rounded the top 10 with an index of 2,942,001.
