8+ Most Buzzworthy 4th-Gen K-pop Groups in September 2023 — Who's #1?
The year 2023 is still ongoing, and many of our favorite K-pop artists have made their buzz for the past several months. With August now ended, September has stepped in with fervor, ready to give fans more news and content from K-pop artists.
For the month of September, the Korean Business Research Institute has officially released its first brand rankings, which involves K-pop rookie idol groups.
According to the chart, the data was collected from August 5 to September 5, and only consists of groups who debuted in 2022 or later on.
Here are 10 most popular fourth-gen K-pop groups in September 2023!
1. NewJeans
For September, NewJeans claimed the No. 1 spot with a brand reputation index of 7,488,673, together with an 11.23 percent score rise. The group also received a result of 91.89 percent positive reactions for their positivity-negativity analysis.
2. LE SSERAFIM
LE SSERAFIM defended their place at No. 2 with a brand reputation index of 2,572,983. The group also made headlines with their concert tour, along with their viral moments on stage.
3. ZEROBASEONE
At the third place, Mnet's project boy group ZEROBASEONE claimed a brand reputation index of 2,152,729.
4. H1-KEY
H1-KEY secured the fourth place due to a 42.63 percent score rise and a brand reputation index of 1,512,397.
5. NMIXX
The top five was completed by JYP Entertainment's fourth-gen girl group representative NMIXX, who garnered a brand reputation index of 659,482 for September.
6. tripleS
The list also included tripleS, who managed to earn a brand reputation index of 514,597. The group also gained buzz since they released their new sub-unit LOVElution, who debuted with first mini album "ↀ," and its title track "Girls' Capitalism."
7. The Wind
The Wind made in on No. 7 due to receiving a brand reputation index of 375,483.
8. NINE.i
On the eighth place, NINE.i made it with a brand reputation index of 334,120.
9. BOYNEXTDOOR
Zico's new boy group BOYNEXTDOOR claimed the ninth place with a brand reputation index of 314,684.
10. xikers
Finally, we have xikers, who rounded the top 10 with an index of 284,387.
