TWICE Sana, NCT Jungwoo, More K-pop Idols Who Became Brand Ambassadors in September 2023

For this year's September, the month has already reached its mid-journey, and a lot has happened since. K-pop is continuously reaching out to international audiences more and more, leading most idols to become ever-present in foreign areas.

While K-pop idols tend to focus heavily on their music and appearances, their ability to captivate a brand's identity is also undeniably impressive. This can lead many idols to be selected by various luxury brands, and eventually becoming ambassadors.

Here are 4 K-pop idols who became brand ambassadors in September 2023!

1. TWICE Sana

Sana became Prada's newest brand ambassador on September 7, when the brand officially uploaded a post on Instagram. The iconic "Shy Shy Shy" trendsetter was featured along with fellow Prada ambassadors who are NCT Jaehyun and Song Kang at the brand's Seoul event.

After numerous appearances on fashion events as Prada's representative, the speculations were steered clear by Sana's official addition as one of its brand ambassadors.

2. NCT Jungwoo

Jungwoo became the first-ever male brand ambassador for luxury Italian Brand, Tod's. The brand also welcomed the singer, with Jungwoo announcing his take as well.

Tod's released their statement:

"Tod's is pleased to announce Mr. Jungwoo @sugaringcandy, a singer representing K-pop from NCT, as its first male Brand Ambassador in Korea.

With the brand's same passion for a timeless style and contemporary spirit, Jungwoo will accompany Tod's in its activities in Korea."

Jungwoo added how grateful he was about being selected as the brand's newest ambassador and promised to deliver his best through its upcoming endeavors.

"Being Tod's newest brand ambassador is an honor, and I hope to experience the true Italian lifestyle through the upcoming projects with Tod's."

3. ATEEZ Hongjoong

Hongjoong went through speculations regarding his role as the newest member of "Balmain Army."

Finally, the air was cleared out when on September 5, Balmain announced the surprising news on social media, showing numerous photos of Hongjoong for Women's Wear Daily. The brand was proud with Hongjoong, and even referred to him as a Balmain prince.

On the brand's post, it captioned:

"Rising star and Balmain prince Hongjoong of @ateez_official_ embraces the elegant yet daring spirit of the #BALMAINFW23 collection for the latest issue of @wwd magazine.

Wearing Look 8 by @olivier_rousteing, the rapper and singer shared all thing fashion and taking ATEEZ to new heights."

4. NCT Doyoung

While it was already announced that Doyoung is the newest brand ambassador for Dolce & Gabbana, the idol stepped it up a notch by being its global ambassador on September 15.

On Dolce & Gabbana's website, the brand confirmed:

"Doyoung, the global ambassador, becomes the embodiment of this essence in the new ADV campaign, shown through Park Jongha's wonderful shots."
