Dara Shocks With Unaging Visuals Amid Being 'Older Sister' in 'Amazing Saturday'

Sandara continues to garner praise for her "eternal beauty"!

On September 23, tvN's entertainment show "Amazing Saturday" aired a special episode where they invited top idol-turned-soloists representing the second-gen K-pop era.

Along with the permanent cast Girls' Generation Taeyeon and SHINee Key, they were also joined by CNBLUE Jung Yong Hwa, 2NE1 Sandara Park, and F.T. Island Lee Hong Ki.

During the show, the five idols who debuted in the 2000s reminisced about their "heyday" as top-tier idols, recalled the harsh reality of the entertainment scene, and rekindled their friendships that weakened due to their busy schedules.

Just then, Shin Dong Yup brought up an interesting scene that happened during the episode's filming.

"I saw earlier that everyone called Sandara 'noona' or 'unnie' (older sister)."

In particular, among Taeyeon (34), Yong Hwa (34), Hong Ki (33), and Key (32), Dara is the oldest at the age of 38. However, with her youthful beauty, one would believe that she's only in her 20s and not someone who's approaching her 40s!

The host-comedian who was amazed by the youthful beauty of Dara was seconded by comedienne Park Narae (37), revealing how Donghyun was surprised to know that she's also younger than the idol!

Narae narrated:

"Donghyun oppa also asked, 'Is she older than you?' when I called Sandara 'unnie'."

Kim Dong Hyun agreed and replied:

"I was really surprised."

tvN's"Amazing Saturday" is a cross-generational music entertainment that plays a song lyrics dictation game with hot food in the national market.

2NE1 Sandara Confirmed to Host New SBS Show

Meanwhile, after being active as a 2NE1 member and releasing her self-titled Korean debut solo album, Sandara is set to return to the entertainment scene with a new show!

According to SBS MediaNet on September 25, the SBS FiL Life program, "When I was even a year younger" (literal translation, tentative title), will introduce Sandara as one of the four MCs who will lead the new show which will start filming on October 5.

The life challenge program will feature celebrities in their 40s to 60s who will finally take on the biggest challenge of their lives, which they had to put off when they were younger.

Along with Sandara, she will co-MC with Lee Chaeyoung, Hong Jiyoon, and Huh Kyung Hwan.

On the other hand, Sandara Park plans to reveal her own trendy lifestyle, including K-culture and K-beauty, which the world is paying attention to after being active in beauty programs and entertainment programs.
