On September 23, SM Entertainment artists gathered together to perform in the family concert, "SMTOWN LIVE 2023: SMCU Palace @Jakarta." This is the first family concert of SM artists in Indonesia in about 11 years since 2012.
In particular, the concert featured groups TVXQ, Super Junior, Red Velvet, NCT 127, NCT Dream, WayV, aespa, and RIIZE, giving a total of 41 colorful performances for about four hours.

During their stay in Indonesia, the aforementioned artists were then given the chance to meet one another, giving Pink Bloods and K-pop fans the interactions and "crumbs" that they've been waiting for!
Regarding aespa, some of their trending moments include Karina showing concern to Red Velvet Irene, who almost failed to attend the con due to poor condition.
Another was when RIIZE x aespa, SM's youngest groups, collaborated through a dance challenge.

On NCT's official SNS, a video of Winter and Jaehyun doing the "Baggy Jeans" challenge was posted, and it immediately garnered 7M views and about 1.5 likes.

The male idol also did the "BetterThings" challenge with the aespa member, gaining more attention. It wasn't even a day since it was posted but it already earned 3.1 million views, providing hot responses from fans.

Aside from the wholesome interaction, fans were in a frenzy since they didn't expect that the two would ever be in the same frame again following the dating rumors that they were embroiled in.
In July 2022, Winter was speculated to be dating for always using her phone and seemed to be texting someone, with netizens claiming that it was her boyfriend. For some reason, fans claimed that it was Jaehyun.
In August then, during their SMTOWN family concert in Tokyo, Winter and Jaehyun were seen comfortably talking with each other inside a cart, strengthening the rumor.
In October of the same year, Winter was spotted holding a shopping bag from the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA). According to fans, it was the same bag carried by Jaehyun's manager and it was claimed that the male idol brought it as a gift the the songstress.
As a result, sasaeng fans threw hate against the female idol, saying that she should stay away from Jaehyun, and vice versa.
But amid all of this, the alleged couple remained silent and continued their friendship as if they weren't linked with each other.
