Following allegations that SHINee Taemin and Key made colorist remark to Minho, Korean netizens and K-shawols criticized foreign fans for being "too sensitive."

International Shawols Call Out SHINee Taemin & Key for Colorist Remark to Minho

Earlier, SHINee's YouTube channel updated on the group's reality show, "SHINee.ing," featuring the three active members Key, Minho and Taemin.

While talking about what they should do next in their show, Minho suggested playing golf together only to earn the refusal of his co-members.

Aside from various reasons, Taemin also emphasized that he can only see Minho's white in the eyes and mouth after having a "tanned skin " due to golfing, while Key also made fun of him by pointing out how he won't be able to see him during the night due to his tanned complexion.

When the video was uploaded, international shawols (fandom) were quick to call out the two idols for their remark to Minho, and tried to educate and inform them through SNS and Bubble that they were being colorist.

As a result, the staff edited the controversial part, which enraged fans even more for not letting Key and Taemin be held accountable for what they said and learn from their mistakes.

K-Shawols Raised Brows Against Foreign Shawols for 'Putting Too Much Weight' on Key & Taemin's Remark

While foreign fans see this as a huge problem that should be addressed rather than forgotten, K-shawols and netizens have different opinions.

Looking at the situation, Koreans think that there's nothing wrong with what Taemin & Key said to Minho, labeling it as an ordinary teasing and bantering among long-time friends.

K-shawols criticized international fans for "putting too much weight on it," and called them "too senstive" when it wasn't supposed to be an issue in the first place.
