On October 5, agency rrr Entertainment released an official statement confirming Yubin's breakup with tennis player Kwon Soon Woo.
Rumors of their breakup developed when the two celebrities unfollowed each other on Instagram, as well as deleted their couple photos on the platform. According to rrr Entertainment, the two also remained friends even after their separation.

On May 22, it was announced that Yubin and Kwon Soon Woo were officially in a relationship. According to sources, Yubin was spotted watching the 2023 Davis Cup Finals, which was held at the Seoul Olympic Park Tennis Center in February.
The two then reportedly engaged on a dinner date after the game. This information was also confirmed by rrr Entertainment, stating that Yubin and Kwon Soon Woo were indeed dating each other. The agency also laid boundaries regarding the big news.
"It is true that Yubin and Kwon Soon Woo are dating each other with good feelings. However, since this is our artist's private life, we cannot disclose any specific details."
Yubin established her own agency rrr Entertainment on February 18, 2020. The idol has been also active as an entertainer and singer in her solo career.
Kwon Soon Woo on the other hand is currently South Korea's No. 1 tennis player. The athlete had played at the 32nd Summer Olympics in 2021, and this 2023, he secured victory at the 2023 Adelaide International 2 tournament.
