LEDApple Spices Things Up With Latin Salsa Flavor In New Song, 'Bad Boys'

On June 17, Korean rock idols LEDApple turned up the heat with the release of "Bad Boys" and the accompanying music video.

The new song has a Latin flair that is hard to miss complete with horns and intermittent Spanish phrases - a chorus that includes "Ole!" and a Ricky Martin reference with "la vida loca."

The video itself shows the five members performing in a club and features a particularly sexy salsa dance scene with main vocalist Hanbyul and actress Kang Ye Bin getting steamy on the dance floor.

The song maintains a lot of the rock elements the group has become known for since their debut in 2010 - distinct beat, guitar riffs, and a drum solo.

The latin-rock fusion track was composed by Jo Young Soo who previously worked with LEDApple on their songs "Sadness," "Run to You" and "Let the Wind Blow." Giving it a listen, it is easy to get a similar feeling as with last year's "Run to You."

"Bad Boys" was reportedly written with each of the individual members' strong points in mind and showcases their vocal and musical talents.

"Bad Boys" comes off the group's third mini album of the same name and has a fun beat and is the perfect jam for a hot summer's night.

Prior to the latest release, LEDApple had been working on a cover series via their official YouTube channel called "Music Note." Each week the group released a performance of a cover song for their fans.
