10 K-pop Groups Who Trended Most in October 2023: BTS, BLACKPINK, NewJeans, More!

October has come halfway through its course, and as everyone knows, it's a fun-filled month thanks to our favorite K-pop artists. The Korean Business Research Institute has officially revealed its newest brand reputation rankings for all K-pop idol groups.

By determining the participation of consumers, coverage in the media, and many aspects that can contribute to buzz or virality. According to the institute, the rankings were derived from September 17 to October 17.

Here are the 10 most popular K-pop groups in October 2023!

1. BTS

BTS claimed the No. 1 spot with a brand reputation index of 6,280,605, along with a 9.39 percent score increase. With many of the members going for their solo schedules, the world's biggest K-pop group has shown no signs of slowing down.

2. BLACKPINK

With a staggering 71.70 percent score increase, BLACKPINK secured second place with a brand reputation index of 4,917,759.

3. NewJeans

In third place, NewJeans made it with a brand reputation index of 4,721,727. The group also gained buzz for winning trophies at the 2023 The Fact Music Awards.

4. IVE

The No. 4 spot was secured by IVE, who garnered a brand reputation index of 4,458,788 a 21.03 percent score rise.

5. SEVENTEEN

With a brand reputation index of 3,632,737, SEVENTEEN managed to complete the top five. The group also went viral for winning a daesang (Grand Prize) at the 2023 The Fact Music Awards.

6. TXT

The list was continued by TXT, who gained a brand reputation index of 3,164,717. The group also made waves in the K-pop scene with their comeback album "The Name Chapter: FREEFALL," and title track "Chasing That Feeling."

7. EXO

No. 7 was filled in by EXO, who received a brand reputation index of 2,907,063 for October.

8. TWICE

TWICE followed in eighth place, where they claimed a brand reputation index of 2,828,531. With their ongoing "READY TO BE" world tour, the girls are currently establishing themselves as one of the best representative groups of third-generation K-pop.

9. Stray Kids

Stray Kids closed at No. 9 after seeing a brand reputation index of 2,305,355.

10. NMIXX

Finally, we have NMIXX, who landed in tenth place, completing the list's top 10. For October, the group received a brand reputation index of 2,257,715.
