12 K-pop Soloists, Groups Reigning October 2023 Brand Reputation Rankings
The month of October is halfway on its journey, and fans are thankful for the releases, moments, concerts, and other content from K-pop artists. Since many had a blast this month, their popularity was also measured by the Korean Business Research Institute.
The organization has officially released its newest brand reputation rankings involving all Korean artists, composed of soloists, duos, bands, and groups. According to the list, the results were collected from September 21 to October 21.
Here are the top 12 Korean artists reigning the October 2023 brand rankings!
1. BTS
For October, the first place was claimed by none other than BTS, who secured the spot with a brand reputation index of 7,556,687.
2. BLACKPINK
In second place, BLACKPINK reigned the position with a brand reputation index of 7,408,485. The results were due to the group receiving an overwhelming 116.85 percent score increase.
3. Lim Young Woong
Lim Young Woong made it on No. 3 after garnering a brand reputation index of 7,250,957. The trot singer also gained buzz after winning trophies at the 2023 The Fact Music Awards.
4. NewJeans
The fourth place was claimed by NewJeans, who gained a brand reputation index of 4,425,385.
5. IVE
IVE completed the top five with a brand reputation index of 4,064,954. The girl group also returned with their comeback album "I've Mine" and title track "Baddie," leading them to gain attention from the K-pop community.
6. AKMU
AKMU secured No. 6 with an index of 3,744,708.
7. IU
IU joined the list's No. 7 with a brand reputation index of 3,175,120.
8. Kim Ho Joong
Kim Ho Joong made it on No. 8 after seeing a brand reputation index of 3,134,718.
9. Lee Chan Won
Lee Chan Won secured No. 9 with a brand index of 3,050,440.
10. PSY
PSY rounded up the top 10 with an index of 2,893,543.
11. SEVENTEEN
SEVENTEEN placed No. 11 with an index of 2,815,543.
12. MAMAMOO Hwasa
Lastly, Hwasa made it on No. 12 with a brand reputation index of 2,099,900.
