TXT is making waves across music charts with their newest album!

On October 22, Billboard officially announced that "The Name Chapter: FREEFALL" made its first-ever entry on Billboard's Top 200 Albums chart, claiming the No. 3 spot. The achievement is impressive since the chart determines the most popular albums in the United States.

This led the group to become the only second K-pop artist ever to place four separate albums on Billboard 200. The other group who managed to achieve this feat is none other than their seniors, BTS. Moreover, TXT also claimed No. 1 on the Top Album Sales chart.

According to Billboard's disclosure of Luminate's data, "The Name Chapter: FREEFALL" attained a total of 114,500 equivalent album units for the week ending on October 19.

To break it down, the album managed to collect 106,000 in traditional album sales, 8,000 streaming equivalent album units, 11.53 million on-demand audio streams, and 500 track equivalent album units during its first week of release.

Furthermore, the title track "Chasing That Feeling" also received positive reviews from MOAs (TXT's fandom) and the K-pop community.

TXT is 'Chasing That Feeling' in Enthusiastic Music Video

On October 13, at 1 p.m., KST, TXT finally released their third full-length album "The Name Chapter: FREEFALL" and the music video for title track "Chasing That Feeling."

According to the album, the content is about the youth who want to finally face the reality of the world after escaping and delaying their adulthood. The song "Chasing That Feeling" exhibits the New Wave sound, which throws back to the retro sound of 1980's.

As of October 23, the music video currently garners 59,988,236 million views on YouTube. It also collected positive responses from MOAs, who were more than happy to receive a new bop from the quintet. They commented:

  • "Completely fall in love with their uniqueness again. This is exactly what TXT is about, getting better each comeback."
  • "The world is healing because of TXT."
  • "I can't stop listening to this song or should I say, the whole album."
