While 3rd-gen and 4th-gen idols are quick to be involved in dating scandals even after their debut, these five second-gen female idols never had one for these reasons.
In particular, they showed their beliefs about being in a relationship that they survived a career for over 10 years with clean dating records.

Former Wonder Girls Sunmi
Sunmi, who debuted as a member of Wonder Girls in 2007, has been active in the entertainment scene for about 17 year. But since her launch, she has never been in a romantic relationship rumor.
In a recent radio broadcast guesting with Park Myung Soo, she confessed:
"In fact, I have no experience in dating for my age."
Regarding this, Sunmi expressed her unique views about dating and said:
"They say you should meet a lot (of people/guys) when you are young, but I don't agree with that opinion. You just have to meet a good person from the beginning. But I don't have a chance to meet a man like that yet."
Girls' Generation Seohyun
Idol-turned-actress Seohyun, the youngest member of the "Nation's Girl Group" SNSD was also never embroiled in a dating scandal since she debuted in the same year as Sunmi.
Although she was linked to CNBLUE Jung Yong Hwa before, there was actually nothing suspicious with her actions that people would think they were secretly dating.
In fact, even Dispatch gave up on her after the media watched her for months to catch her dating, but she was only seen going to the same café with her manager and reading books.
In response, Seohyun expressed that dating was rarely on her mind and her work is her priority right now.
"I've rarely been in a relationship. I think I'm a person who puts work first above anything."
Apink Chorong, Yoon Bomi, Oh Hayoung

Apink, who debuted in 2011 entered their 13th year in the entertainment scene and yet members Chorong, Yoon Bomi and Oh Hayoung have never been involved in any dating scandals.
In 2020, Chorong revealed the "secret" why and said:
"Oh Hayoung, our youngest thoroughly manages our relationship status."

Chorong added:
"She even takes care of the members' kissing scenes in the drama. Hayoung is a member who communicates with fans the most, and I think she often talks about it because she knows that fans will be hurt by dating rumors or scandals."
Former KARA Nicole
Since Nicole was still a KARA member up until she debuted as a solo artist, the female star was never caught in a dating rumor.
When she was still active in the group, she even confessed she never had a relationship before. But like Seohyun, she was also focused on her work.
However, at the time, she confessed that she had a crush on actor Yoo Seung Ho.
2NE1 Minzy

Since her debut in 2NE1, Minzy also never had a public relationship due to her busy schedule. On top of that, she rarely talks about her private life especially when it comes to dating.
However, it was said that she had at least dated 1 guy before.
