SM ACTIST Updates on Lami's Status With New Photos + Draws Attention for Resemblance With IVE Wonyoung & Gaeul

On November 1, SM ACTIST, a dedicated SM Entertainment's SNS for actors + artists, shared Lami's recent status.

On this day, the idol trainee-turned-actress shared her new photos with the caption:

"Here's an update on actress Lami.
Just looking at her brightens my mood.

My vitamin,
My fatigue reliever,
My nourishing supplement,
My endorphins,
LAMI.

Please show actress Lami a lot of love."

In her photos, Lami smiled brightly at the camera, while showcasing her elegant yet innocent vibes. Compared to when she was still in SMROOKIES, Lami flaunted a more mature appearance, yet her pure eye smile and dimples didn't change a bit.

Although she's an actress now, the former idol trainee exuded her star qualities by posing to the camera like a pro.

When her photos were posted, K-pop fans especially Pink Bloods (SM stans) can't help but admire Lami's beauty and expressed their regrets that she didn't debut as an idol.

If weren't for her initially leaving SM, fans believed that Lami could have debuted as a member of one of the most popular fourth-gen girl groups, aespa.

Lami's Recent Activities

In 2013, Lami's name became first known in the K-pop scene as a member of SM ROOKIES, a pre-debut trainees' group under SM Entertainment.

Due to her singing and dance skills on top of her visuals, fans were confident she would debut after it was confirmed that she would join SM New Girl Group (SR16G) in 2017, hereinafter, aespa.

But in 2020, she left SM Entertainment and initially hinted that she gave up on becoming an idol to focus on her studies.

But in 2022, Lami surprised fans after she returned to SM, but this time, as an actress. She returned to the small screen for the 2023 drama, "Oh! Youngsim," and earned rave reviews for her stable and bright acting.

Before the year ends, it is also expected that Lami will show off her acting skills in the upcoming mystery teen drama, "Night Has Fallen."
