Jung Jinyoung in 2011 to 2019: B1A4, Debut as Actor, Record Producer
Initially discovered through Cyworld for his visuals, Jung Jinyoung trained for two years before debuting in WM Entertainment as a member of the boy group B1A4.

Since he was young, Jung dreamed of being a multi-entertainer who sings and acts; thus, it was a dream come true for him to work as a leader and main producer of the group in 2011 and debut as an actor in early 2013.
Thanks to his dedication and passion for music as a producer, he made numerous songs for B1A4, which led to their fame in the 2010s. Some of these are "What's happening," "Baby, I'm Sorry," "Lonely," "Tried to Walk," and more.
Unfortunately, Jinyoung and Baro left WM in 2018 and B1A4 reorganized as a three-member group including CNU, Sandeul, and Gongchan. Jinyoung clarified that he didn't withdraw from the group, so fans are still waiting for his return to the group in a positive light.
After he left WM Entertainment, Jinyoung pursued his solo career, as an idol, producer, songwriter, and actor.
In the acting scene, the star did various works, including "Miss Granny," "Persevere, Goo Hae Ra," and "Warm and Cozy."
It was in 2016 when Jinyoung rose to fame as an actor, after appearing in the hit drama "Love in the Moonlight." His breakthrough was with the film "The Dude in Me," which became a box office hit in 2019.
He also continued to work as a producer, mostly making OSTs for various Korean dramas as well as songs for Mnet's Produce 101" in 2016. In the same year, he was hailed, "No. 1 Solo Composer."
In 2019, he temporarily halted his activities to serve in the military.

After he was discharged in 2021, his comeback drama, "Police University," was well-received, proving his unrelenting popularity as an actor.
In 2022, he also opened a YouTube channel wherein he started a series of creating music with no copyright as a help to people working as creatives.
In the same year, he also started working as an MC and mentor for shows like "Love Alarm: If You Like It, It Will Ring," which aired in 2022, and "Fantasy Boys" broadcasted in 2023.
This year, Jung Jinyoung also heralds for his participation in the Netflix's "Sweet Home Season 2," set to air in December. This will be aired following its prequel," "Sweet Home," starring Song Kang, Lee Jin Wook, Lee Si Young, Lee Do Hyub, and Go Min Si.
