f(x) Reunion: Group Rumored to Come Together After 4 Years

Following their 14th debut anniversary in September, f(x) is rumored to finally gather once again after four years!

On November 11, a report trended Weibo, stating that an all-female dance survival competition show was set to be aired in collaboration with Hunan TV and MGTV.

But this is not the reason it received high interest from K-pop fans, but due to the rumor that the program is planning to gather all f(x) members as a complete group!

While MeUs [f(x) fans] are skeptical about the information circulating, the fandom raised their hopes high when a teaser video was released for the program, showing the K-pop act and its members.

In the video, Victoria, Amber, and Krystal were introduced, respectively, highlighting f(x)'s past stages.

In the background, Amber can be heard narrating:

"It's interesting to let go of oneself and meet a new self on stage. Trying new things on the stage, overturning oneself."

Unfortunately, it is said that Luna won't be joining the team this time after not being mentioned in the teaser clip — making it a three-member reunion then.

MeUs React to f(x) Reunion

When the rumor spread online, MeUs expressed their excitement to see f(x) reunite once again. After all, this is the first time that they will gather at an official schedule, following their last reunion in 2019 for SMTOWN Live in Tokyo.

During that time, Victoria wasn't able to attend due to her schedule in China. But overall, it was a historical moment for both members and fans after they started their music hiatus in 2016.

When the rumor circulated, the group's supporters wrote comments such as:

• "It's real?"
• "Please don't play with me."
• "Wow, this is actually happening?"
• "f(x) reunion? Oh, I'm up."

Regarding Luna's alleged absence from the reunion, tpeople claimed that it was probably due to her schedule as a musical actress. But some fans said that it was most likely due to China's restriction of Koreans to perform in the country.

Amber is Taiwanese-American, Victoria is Chinese, and Krystal is Korean-American, and these are said to be the reason they can gather the three, except Luna.

Meanwhile, after their last album release in 2015 with "4 Walls," f(x) became active separately in various countries.

While Krystal pursued her acting career in Korea, Amber continued her music in China and the US. As for Victoria, she became an actress and singer in China and the three left SM Entertainment eventually.

Luna also left SM and in 2021, she launched her own agency, Grida Entertainment, where she is actively promoting as a musical actress and soloist.

Because they all left SM, a comeback became harder, but they attested to fans that they didn't disband and would come back when the time came.
