2023 MAMA Awards Winners (Day 1) Unveiled: BTS, ZEROBASEONE, TXT, More Take Home Trophies!

"Music Makes ONE." These words were proudly declared and felt by people in the venue. True to its theme of "ONE I BORN," the 2023 MAMA Awards instantly united the audience and viewers around the world as one to watch the exciting awards show!

On November 28, the 2023 MAMA Awards finally commenced, bringing in thousands of fans to witness one of the major awarding ceremonies in the K-pop industry.

The event took place in Tokyo Dome, Japan, where various big names from the K-pop and entertainment industries graced the red carpet. Afterwards, the crowd was exhilarated by the host of Day 1, who is none other than the lovely Jeon Somi.

With over 50,000 spectators in the location, the large-scale venue gave numerous fandoms a chance to enjoy the show and watch their favorite artists receive their well-deserved awards.

For the Worldwide Fans' Choice Top 10 Awards (Bonsang), the 10 chosen artists obtained their trophies for the night. Meanwhile, the awards for Favorite New Artist went to two K-pop groups.

Day 1 also gave out only one Daesang (Grand Prize), which was the Samsung Galaxy Worldwide Icon of the Year. See the Winners for Day 1 below!

Notably, this marks BTS's sixth consecutive time to receive Samsung Galaxy Worldwide Icon of the Year. Jungkook also relayed an acceptance speech in a video, where he expressed his gratitude.
