EXO-Ls believed that history has repeated once again with EXO's exclusion from the MAMA Awards, with many having demanded transparency.

'EXO MOST ROBBED IN MAMA' Trends Due to Group's Exclusion from Worldwide Fans' Choice Category

On November 28, the first day of the 2023 MAMA Awards finally commenced, with many fans having witnessed the highly anticipated year-end ceremony.

Many artists won awards, snagging trophies from categories such as the Worldwide Fans' Choice, Favorite New Artist, Favorite Asian Female Group, Favorite Asian Boy Group, Inspiring Achievement, Galaxy Neo Flip Artist, and Worldwide Icon of the Year.

However, Eris were frustrated with the fact that EXO didn't receive any awards from the Worldwide Fans' Choice category.

Earlier on October 19, Mnet opened the voting and criteria, requiring that votes from the app will give out 70 percent, while Spotify votes would make up the remaining 30 percent.

On November 20, during the last hour of voting, EXO ultimately made it to the Top 10 of Worldwide Fans' Choice by claiming the No. 6 spot with an accumulation of 4.19 percent.

Fans couldn't believe that EXO didn't win in the awards show and considered the group the "most robbed" in the ceremony. Most fans inside the community were upset, which led them to demand transparency for the computation of points in Worldwide Fans' Choice.

In other news, the 2023 MAMA Awards was held at the Tokyo Dome, in Japan. Many celebrities and artists graced the red carpet with their fashion and presence. The first day was also hosted by Jeon Somi, who entertained everyone with her playful charisma.
