On December 26, a teaser of "Nation's Girl Group" Girls' Generation member Sooyoung and actor Song Jaerim's appearance in KBS2's variety program, "Problem Child in House," was unveiled.
There, it is expected that she will feature her athleticism and unexpected lifestyle to maintain her wannabe physique. Fans and viewers also anticipate talks about her career as a member of the Girls' Generation, including their future activities.
Sooyoung Confesses Crying Alone During SNSD's 16th Debut Anniversary
In the video teaser, Sooyoung shared an anecdote about her spending the group's 16th debut anniversary alone in August 2023.
Contrary to celebrating their 15th year together as they released a studio album, "FOREVER 1" in 2022, this year's event left Sooyoung in tears while commemorating their special day alone.
She explained:
"This year, the timing didn't work out with the members, so we couldn't get together on our 16th debut anniversary. So I blew candles on the cake alone at home and watched videos of the Girl's Generation all-song collection.
When I was watching music broadcast videos from our debut to now, old memories come to mind and I cried."
Sooyoung Wants to Hold Group Concert for Girls' Generation's 20th Debut Anniversary
As a legendary member of the long-lived girl group, Sooyoung also drew attention after hinting at their plans for their 20th debut anniversary.
In the same teaser, the "Gee" singer drew attention by saying that she really wanted to do a concert for the 20th anniversary of Girls' Generation, explaining:
"I recently went to Uhm Jung Hwa sunbaenim's concert, and her presence on the stage was amazing. She has so many hit songs that I danced and sang along until my throat was sore.
After feeling the heat, I thought that I really wanted to hold a Girls' Generation concert as well. "

Sooyoung, who hinted at SNSD's full group return showed an even greater will to do the anniversary concert after the show's MCs also emphasized SNSD's multiple hits and showed their willingness to attend the event if it will come true.
All eyes were on whether all the members of the Girls' Generation would be able to unite ahead of their 20th anniversary.
Choi Sooyoung's full appearance on KBS2's "Problem Child in House" will be aired on December 27. Viewers and SONEs are expected to hear more stories about Girls' Generation's debut, which had not been released before.
