On January 9, an exclusive report made by SPOTV News reported that ASTRO member Cha Eun Woo is preparing to make his solo debut!
The idol-actor will be releasing his first solo album in the first half of the year.

In response to this report, Fantagio, home to Cha Eun Woo, confirmed the news.
On top of confirming he will be releasing an album, they also revealed Cha Eun Woo aims to unveil the songs from his solo album on stage at his first fan-con. His fan-con tour is slated to start in South Korea at the Jamsil Indoor Stadium on February 17.

Fantagio's statement reads:
"Cha Eun Woo is working on his solo debut plans to release his debut solo album in the first half of 2024. Please look forward to this as he is getting ready to reveal the songs from his solo album live for the first time at his first fan-con, which is scheduled to take place at Jamsil Indoor Stadium on February 17."
Cha Eun Woo will be making his highly anticipated solo debut nearly eight years after debuting as a member of ASTRO in 2016.
Currently, the idol-actor is preparing for his Asian fan-con tour, "2024 Just One 10 Minute," which is slated to kick off in Seoul. The tour also includes stops in Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, Japan, Singapore, and Indonesia.

The ASTRO member has also been active as an actor. He is currently starring in the MBC drama "A Good Day to Be a Dog," which will air its final episode this week. In March 2024, he will star in the upcoming MBC drama "Wonderful World."
