12 K-pop Artists Dominating Ad Model Brand Rankings in January 2024!

For the month of January, the Korean Business Research Institute officially announced its brand reputation rankings involving celebrities and artists, who made buzz as models in advertising.

The data was gathered from December 4, 2023, to January 4, 2023. Moreover, the rankings were determined through numerous factors such as their exposure in various advertisements and their overall presence in social media.

Here are the Top 12 K-pop artists who reigned the advertisement model brand rankings for January 2024!

1. NewJeans

In terms of K-pop artists, NewJeans ranked No. 1 with a brand reputation index of 1,601,186. However, on the institute's original list, the group secured No. 2.

2. Lim Young Woong

Soloist Lim Young Woong followed closely on No. 3, closing in with a brand reputation index of 1,548,321.

3. ASTRO Cha Eun Woo

Idol-actor Cha Eun Woo managed to claim sixth place with a brand reputation index of 822,430 for January.

4. Lee Hyori

Lee Hyori made it on No. 12 after seeing a brand reputation index of 619,567 on the list.

5. SEVENTEEN

This was trailed by SEVENTEEN, who garnered a brand reputation index of 599,479, which led them to earn No. 13.

6. BLACKPINK

For January, BLACKPINK took over the No. 15 spot with a brand reputation index of 592,576.

7. BTS

With a brand reputation index of 571,275, the list's No. 18 was occupied by BTS.

8. IU

This was followed by IU, who received a brand reputation index of 563,648 for January.

9. IVE

The Top 20 was concluded by IVE, who ranked with a brand reputation index of 558,163.

10. Lee Chan Won

Claiming No. 22, soloist Lee Chan Won managed to collect a total count of 535,320 regarding his brand reputation index for January.

11. Kim Ho Joong

12. TWICE

Finally, we have third-gen's powerhouse K-pop girl group TWICE, who received a brand reputation index of 420,054. This ranking also led the group to wrap up the institute's list, by occupying the No. 30 spot for January.
