The OG "It Girl" Lee Hyori never fails to recognize the most precious ones! In an interview, the K-pop icon mentioned the boy group she finds handsome these days among fourth-gen acts.

On January 12, the second episode of "The Seasons: Lee Hyori's Red Carpet" has been aired featuring singers including Younha, Kim Feel, idol group RIIZE & Silica Gel band.

During the broadcast, the "Nation's Fairy" Lee can't help but emphasize the visuals of the representative fourth-gen group RIIZE.

Lee Hyori Praises RIIZE, Member Wonbin's Visuals

Sitting on stage with Lee Hyori four months after their debut, RIIZE was seemingly nervous but the female icon did her best to ease and make them more comfortable for the whole show.

Aside from teasing them with light-hearted jokes, Lee Hyori can't help but give them words of admiration, especially regarding the members' appearances on top of their skills.

In particular, when the boy group finished performing their 2023 hit, "Get a Guitar," Lee lauded Wonbin, saying:

"I often looked up photos of Wonbin at the airport. My stylist's team said that RIIZE has a very handsome member, so I initially thought, 'How handsome can he be?'

Seeing him, I was surprised to see how handsome he was. Are people with 'Won Bin' as their names all handsome?"

Not only Wonbin, but Lee Hyori also implied RIIZE as the group that has been making her happy these days.

"Not only Wonbin, but all six of them are so tall and attractive, it was so satisfying to see them dancing together. In the past, when I saw good-looking friends, my heart would flutter, but these days I'm just so happy."

RIIZE Explains Why Group Has No Leader

In the same broadcast, the group also clarified the reason RIIZE has no leader, which is an essential position to maintain order among members.

The topic was raised when Hyori asked if there was any member who was impressed by her, to which Sungchan replied:

"That would be me. It was when sunbaenim gave advice to a student, and what was impressive was when (you say) that a leader shouldn't lead but support the team from behind."

Hearing this, Hyori clarified if Sungchan was RIIZE's leader, but he made her laugh by answering:

"Our team has no leader."

Hyori wondered:

"I thought I would touch Sungchan's heart because he was the leader, but that's not the case. In the past, there was always a leader in the group, but I guess it is not anymore."

Sohee further explained:

“Rather than choosing just one leader, our team leads all six members with the mindset of being a leader.”

When the "10 Minute" hitmaker teased them if the company told them to say that answer, Sohee was embarrassed and shyly denied it.

On a serious note, Hyori agreed to his point and added:

"I think that's a good thing. It's hard for one person to lead the effort, so I think it's good for everyone to take responsibility and work together."
