GFRIEND Has Buddies in Tears After Uploading Emotional 9th Anniversary Photos
On January 15, former GFRIEND members Sowon, Yerin, Eunha, Yuju, SinB, and Umji, all posted on their official Instagram accounts a series of photos for their 9th debut anniversary.
Buddies (GFRIEND's fandom) got emotional over the pictures since GFRIEND members haven't lost touch with one another despite disbanding in 2021.
Each of the members' posts was flooded with comments from fans, who expressed their joy seeing the reunion. On X (Twitter), the pictures also trended in the Buddy community.

Most K-pop fans know that GFRIEND is indeed one of third-gen's most loved groups. Revered for their songs which imbued the rare orchestral pop, as well as their difficult choreography, the group eventually saw gradual success and made a solid following throughout their career.
GFRIEND has released iconic hits such as "Glass Bead," "Me Gustas Tu," "Rough," "LOVE WHISPER," "FINGERTIP," "Memoria," "Time for the moon night," and many more.
Their songs, paired with their heartfelt chemistry and genuine personalities, have claimed a special place in every fan's heart. However, GFRIEND went viral on May 19, 2021, when each of the members uploaded handwritten letters that confirmed the group's disbandment.

Since then, each member has gone their separate ways, with leader Sowon having signed a contract under IOK Company and pursuing her career as an actress. Meanwhile, Yuju and Yerin are both active in their promotions as soloists.
Meanwhile, Eunha, SinB, and Umji are currently working together as the trio VIVIZ, who has released songs such as "BOP BOP," "PULL UP," and "MANIAC."
