IU Becomes 1st Female Artist to Land #1 in MelOn's TOP 100, Joins BTS in Feat
The top soloist is off to a great start this 2024!
On January 24, at 6 p.m., KST, IU returned with her 10th digital single and pre-release track "Love wins all." The MV received positive feedback from the K-pop community due to its emotional music, cinematic sequences, and the performances of IU and V of BTS.
Shortly an hour after it was released, "Love wins all" made its debut immediately at MelOn's Top 100, where it ranked No. 1. MelOn is also Korea's largest streaming music platform, which makes IU's achievement all the more impressive.

IU's newly accomplished feat led "Love wins all" to become the second song in MelOn's Top 100 to place No. 1 in an hour. For additional context, MelOn's Top 100 was first established in August 2021, when the platform was revamped.
With this achievement, IU became the first female artist in MelOn Top 100 history to debut a song at the No. 1 spot. The singer has also joined BTS, the only other artist to land a song at No. 1, which was achieved by their hit track "Yet To Come" in 2022.

IU, BTS V Prove That 'Love Wins All' in Cinematic & Emotional Music Video
When the music video for "Love wins all" was released on January 24, Uaenas and ARMYs were both thrilled to receive the content.
Ever since the teasers were uploaded, the K-pop community had already set their eyes on the release because of what IU and V had to offer. Set in a post-apocalyptic world, IU and V's characters overcome obstacles caused by hostile tesseract beings.
