On January 24, IU unveiled her pre-release single, "Love Wins All," featuring BTS V in its music video. Upon its release, the song immediately became a global hit, with its MV becoming a hot topic all over the world.

Aside from the storyline, IU x BTS V also sent fans into a frenzy for their undeniable chemistry, where they played a disabled couple who conquered their "doom" with "love" in a dystopian setting.

Among the scenes included in the MV, what really became a hot topic among K-netz and fans was the part where IU and BTS V were seen wearing wedding outfits and taking commemorative four-cut shots in a photobooth.

According to viewers, their chemistry is so pure and genuine that they don't see IU and V but as a real couple who have sincere and unconditional love for each other.

Just then, a netizen who was also over-immersed in the MV wrote a comment:

"Now, when I see IU & V together, I don't see them as themselves. They really look like Taejun and Jihye from the music video."

The netizen added:

"I don't know the names. I just made it up. But it's sentimental just looking at them. You know what I mean, right?"

Following this, the comment went viral on various online Korean online communities, leading K-netz to start using the names of the couple in the MV.

Hilariously, these names became a global "meme" beyond Korea and even international fans started calling the idols' roles in "Love Wins All" MV Taejun (for V) and Jihye (for IU).

On the X platform, these nicknames added to the bond of K-pop fandoms, Uaenas (IU) and Armys (BTS), both agreeing that using these nicknames is appropriate since they fell in love with the characters' narrative and their roles' chemistry in the first place.

Since IU is also currently in a relationship with actor Lee Jong Suk in real life, fans think it would be more respectable if shippers could instead ship "Taejun" and "Jihye," rather than IU and V.

Meanwhile, as the couple continues to earn massive support and congratulatory messages, the actor playing "Taejun," BTS V, formed a consensus with fans by being immersed in his role as well.

On January 28, the male idol who's currently serving in the military took to Instagram to support IU's release featuring him and released behind-the-scenes photos while filming "Love Wins All" MV.

V made a buzz by writing the caption:

"Taejun, Jihye, be happy."

With this, he made fans' hearts flutter as he quickly caught up with the fandom's inside joke and playfully acknowledged his relationship with Jihye.

As a result, V who used their nicknames and defined the relationship made fans respond greatly, saying that they finally have a perfect narrative.
