Though they are a rookie artist from one of the Big 4 companies, YG Entertainment has been slammed for BABYMONSTER's lackluster promotional activities. Although fans were excited for "Stuck in the Middle," BABYMONSTER has yet to make its breakthrough.

"Stuck in the Middle" shows off the vocals of the six members. The song makes use of a soft, vocal-centric composition. The gentle ballad is the total opposite of "BATTER UP," but the song was criticized for being too "safe" and "unimpressive."
