Idol-actress Minah's father has passed away according to a statement released by Yooborn Company.

On February 2, Yooborn Company released an official statement announcing the passing of Minah's father due to illness.

The agency also added that the idol-actress was present in the mortuary together with her loved ones. According to sources, her father's mortuary is located at the Incheon International St. Mary's Hospital. On February 4, a procession will be held.

"Minah's father passed away on the 1st of February due to illness," an official from Yooborn Company stated. "Bang Minah is currently at the mortuary together with her family."

We extend our deepest condolences to Minah and her family during this sorrowful time. May her father rest in peace.

Bang Minah's History with Girl's Day, Solo Activities, More

Minah debuted with Girl's Day on July 9, 2010, with their first mini album "Girl's Day Party" and its title track "Tilt My Head." The group was also under agency Dream T Entertainment.

In the 2.5-gen of K-pop, Girl's Day was a massive hit in domestic areas. The girl group is also well-loved for their songs such as "Something," "Darling," "Expectation," "Female President," "Ring My Bell," "Twinkle twinkle," and many more.

On March 16, 2015, Minah officially made her solo debut with first mini album "I Am A Woman Too" and its title track of the same name.
