After leaked photos of rumored trainees in THEBLACKLABEL, K-netz brought back the time when Dragon was linked to one of the idol aspirants under YG's associate agency.

On February 4, the prospective members of Producer Teddy's upcoming girl group were revealed after their photos in the practice room were leaked on various online platforms.

Among the seven rumored trainees, a few familiar faces appeared, including "Little Jennie" Ella Gross, Moon Seo Yoon and Bailey Sok.

Who Is Moon Seo Yoon? Chaebol's Granddaughter Expected to Debut as Idol

In particular, Moon Seo Yoon, also known as Annie Moon attracted the most attention for her incredibly wealthy family background.

She is not your ordinary trainee since Moon is the granddaughter of Shinsegae's Chairman, Lee Myung Hee, who's also the youngest daughter of Samsung founder Lee Byung Chul.

Her mother Chung Yoo Kyung is also currently the president of Korea's largest luxury department store. Her aunt is Chung Yong Jin, the vice president of Shinsegae. Her grandfather on the father's side Moon Chung is also the head and journalist under KBS Press headquarters.

She is also next in line and a member of the fourth-generation chaebol of the Samsung Group.

Although she hasn't debuted as an idol yet, she became famous among K-pop fans due to her top-notch fashion style and due to her close relationship with numerous YG Entertainment artists.

Moon Seo Yoon's Dating Speculation With BIGBANG G-Dragon Draws Attention

Since she was often spotted with YG artists before, Moon Seo Yoon wasn't able to avoid dating rumors, especially when netizens found out about her closeness with G-Dragon.

In January 2023, GD and Moon's dating speculation started when Chinese media, including Sina Entertainment, reported,

"G-Dragon watched the Mnet 'Street Man Fighter' concert with Moon. Moon released a photo of herself holding a YGX light stick with G-Dragon on her personal account."

In the released photo, G-Dragon was seen holding a light stick while covering his face with a black beanie hat and sunglasses. In response, Chinese netizens raised rumors of their romantic relationship.

As soon as the rumor spread, an official from Shinsegae was quick to deny the rumor and stated:

"The dating rumor is not true at all.

As reckless speculative reports continued beyond simple happenings, we decided to make an official statement to correct the wrong information.

As a result of asking for permission, she watched the performance with several people Since (Moon) is a G-Dragon fan, she took a picture and uploaded it."

At the time, YG Entertainment also denied the rumor, saying:

“The dating rumors between Moon and G-Dragon are not true.”

As YG Entertainment is known for its ambiguous position of saying, "We can't confirm it since it is their private life," the fact that they denied it made the romance rumor end in a neat and clear way.
