MNET M! Countdown Live To Have Primetime English Broadcast In The USA, Danny Im To Host

Beginning this week, fans will no longer have to wait for English subtitles to be kept in the loop with premiere K-pop music show 'M Countdown'.   US cable channel MNET America will be re-broadcasting the show in English, with former 1TYM member Danny Im as host.

The music program will continue to air its live broadcast simultaneously as in Korea every Thursday at 2 AM  Pacific Time / 5AM Eastern.  But instead of waiting for subtitle versions to come out, fans can just tune in again later that evening on Thursdays from 8-9:30 PM in each timezone, and get Danny Im to provide color on the show, and help fans understand the charts and performances a whole lot better.  This way audiences in America can watch all the same fun and excitement of the show aired in Korea the night before all over again, in English!

M! Countdown Live is one of K-pop's most popular weekly music countdown shows, featuring live performances - from debut, comeback, and promotion stages.  All performances are from artists vying for a position on the weekly chart.  Weekly winners are selected based on multiple factors - including album sales and fan votes from all over the world.  All of the big names in K-pop have all had their stages on M! Countdown Live.

M! Countdown Live can be watched in the USA via Verizon FiOS and local cable companies.  Fans are encouraged to check their cable listings for schedule and channel information.

This English re-broadcast is another step to serving the international fans who have made K-pop as phenomenal and rich as it is now.  The M! Countdown franchise has been on a campaign to get in touch with its international audience, with M! Countdown Live concerts going on tour via Taiwan and soon in Indonesia and now the special English re-broadcast for the American audience.
