During an interview with Chinese news outlet, EToday, ex-CLC member Elkie revealed her and TWICE Tzuyu's real feelings over the hate they received due to their friendship. 

Former CLC Elkie Reveals TWICE Tzuyu's Real Feelings Regarding Hate Over Their Friendship

Back on February 6, 2024, EToday released an exclusive interview with ex-CLC Elkie. During the interview, she discussed her recent activities, future plans, and her friendship with TWICE's visual maknae, Tzuyu.

Recently, their friendship has been the center of attention after both Elkie and Tzuyu shared photos of the two enjoying a spa day together in January 2022.

The interview revealed that at the end of 2023, Tzuyu returned to Taiwan with several TWICE members early for her annual vacation. While on vacation, she made plans to meet up with Elkie.

During TWICE's trip to Taiwan in the past, they had initially planned to hang out together locally. However, due to conflicting schedules, they couldn't meet up. Elkie expressed regret over not being able to travel together.

Despite that, she kept a positive attitude, saying, "They had a lot of fun experiences, and they said they want to come again next time."

Elkie has known Tzuyu for eight years, and throughout their friendship, she has endured continuous attacks from malicious netizens. Though it may have hurt her in the past, Elkie now maintains a calm attitude, saying, "It seems like I can't stop the haters from talking. I just share my life. I won't bring it up, but if asked, I will answer."

When asked if the malicious comments had taken a toll on their friendship, Elkie quickly responded, "Absolutely not, we only get better."

Elkie then delved deeper into how Tzuyu and her react to the hate they receive, stating, "We just think to ourselves, 'You don't understand.' Tzuyu also thinks, 'Why should you endure this kind of suffering?' And I'll comfort her by saying, 'It's okay, it's just people who care about you, they think they're protecting you.'"

Ex-CLC Elkie Member Reveals How Much They Compliment Each Other

During the interview, Elkie revealed just how much they compliment each other. Despite their differences in personalities, they fit each other like pieces in a puzzle.

She states, "I'm outgoing and extroverted. While she's not introverted, she is the type that needs someone to liven up the atmosphere."

Elkie commented on seeing Tzuyu come out of her shell, commenting, "Seeing her become more cheerful year after year makes me happy. On the other hand, Tzuyu is a healing presence for me; she's naturally calm, and we both have strong empathy."

Elkie then shared a cute moment between the two. In the past, Tzuyu gifted Elkie a pink wallet for her birthday. However, there is a hilarious and heartwarming twist to the story.

It was revealed that Tzuyu stuffed the gift into her suitcase and stood there without leaving, saying, "Take a look!" Only then did Elkie realize it was a birthday present half a year late.

In the card Elkie received, Tzuyu wrote, "Although it's very, very late, let's consider it last year's birthday present. Thank you for being my good friend," showcasing her adorable and lovable personality.
