Park Myung Soo Reveals The K-Pop Idols He is Close to

On February 13, 2024, the latest broadcast of KBS Cool FM's "Park Myung-soo's Radio Show" hit the airwaves. There, DJ Park Myung Soo hosted a game with Kim Tae Jin and engaged in conversation with listeners.

On that day, Park Myung Soo mentioned, "Since the beginning of the year, all of KBS's energy has been directed towards me with 'Donkey Donkey', 'Red Carpet', 'Gag Concert', and various other entertainment appearances. This energy must last until September. If it stops in June or now, I won't receive an award. I ask for everyone's help."

He continued, "Now, where can I go? If I go on '1 Night, 2 Days' or 'Funstaurant' and hit big there, that's enough. If a new show comes out and gets good ratings, it's almost guaranteed a prize. I'm starting to get greedy. Please help me a lot."

Then, a quiz was presented where listeners had to guess the title of a song after hearing a portion of it. While listening to one of the songs, he is heard asking, "Is this Bruno Mars? Just from this much, I can't tell!" Then, Park Myung-soo stumbled, saying, "'La Song' maybe?"

When urged to guess the song correctly, Park Myung Soo tried to list off the K-pop artists he is close to. "I'll make an educated guess. My closest and favorite singers are Jin-E, IU, and Jisoo. I've also become close with Lee Hyori. There's ITZY too, among many others."

However, the correct answer turned out to be Jisoo's solo debut song, "FLOWER."

When he got it wrong, Park Myung Soo signed and immediately apologized to his friend, Jisoo, saying, "I am sorry..."

Kim Tae Jin commended the entertainer for his method, saying, "The approach was good, but you couldn't guess the title."

When it was suggested that there was a rift between the two, Park Myung Soo denied, "No. I'm really sorry. She's in the top five entertainers I like the most. The best in humanity."

He then proved how much he loves Jisoo and BLACKPINK, saying, "I know the song, but if they had played a song from her group instead of her solo, I would've guessed it right 100%."

Kim Tae Jin then asked Park Myung Soo to publicly apologize to Jisoo. In response, Park Myung-soo jokingly cried out, "I just said we're close, but I didn't know anything. She's like a daughter to me, but I couldn't take care of her. I'm so sorry."

He then begs the idol to not cut contact with him, saying, "Don't cut off contact or change your number because of this. If you DM me, I won't forget your beautiful heart. Please forgive me just this once. I'll take a short break." His statement drew laughter.
