On February 18, 2024, a post titled "Sullyoon didn't have double eyelid tape" was posted to a popular South Korean online community forum.

The post contained photos of Sullyoon from NMIXX following their appearance on SBS's "Inkigayo." In the photos, Sullyoon's eyes appear more almond-shaped rather than her usual large doe-like irises. Her double eyelid line was also not as thick as usual.

The original poster (OP) mentioned that the female idol looks much prettier without the use of double eyelid tape. And people agree!

Many flooded the comments section of the post, commenting that she definitely looks better without the use of double eyelid tape. Many even wondered why JYP Entertainment and their stylists kept forcing the idol to use double eyelid tape, saying it lessened her appeal.

NMIXX Sullyoon Accused of Double Eyelid Surgery

On February 17, 2024, a post titled "Is cutting the inner corners of eyes among female idols the new trend?" was posted on a popular South Korean online community forum.

The post included several photos of Sullyoon from an NMIXX fan sign. In the photos, Sullyoon's double eyelid appears swollen, as if she recently went under the knife. However, the idol has natural double eyelids, leading the OP to wonder if she went under the knife to make her double eyelids more pronounced.

However, many took to the comment section to defend the female idol. People noted that she is the MC of a music show and was promoting "DASH" with NMIXX, meaning she had no free time to go under the knife.

Others noted that her make-up style on this day simply did not flatter her. Also, they have consistently been using double eyelids on Sullyoon to pronounce her round eyes, but it ended up not suiting her look.
