Sakura has shared her inner thoughts regarding Chaewon's viral "do-dok" mistake in LE SSERAFIM's "Fire in the belly" stage performance.

In August 2023, Chaewon went viral for her adorable mistake during LE SSERAFIM's performance for "Fire in the belly." The stage included Chaewon boldly declaring the line "FEARNOTs, be my comrade" in Korean, but charmingly stuttered along the way.

On February 22, Sakura sat down with Weverse Magazine for an exclusive interview about her idol career, alongside her thoughts on LE SSERAFIM's "EASY" album and current activities with the group.
At some point, the interviewer pointed out how Sakura managed to focus on her performance during the "Do-dok" incident. Sakura then revealed that at the time of the mishap, she already had her "switch-on," which led her to slay the solo dance segment no matter what!
Interviewer: "Kim Chaewon got people talking about her 'dododok' moment, but people also talked about how focused you were on your solo performance of 'Fire in the belly' despite how funny it was."
Sakura:"I couldn't laugh because I already had my "switch-on." We haven't shown the song that much to FEARNOT, so all I had in mind was putting on a good performance."
Sakura:"Our performance director said that I had to show my solo performance "with my eyes," and doing just that was all I could think about (laughs). I've always had pretty good concentration."

Moreover, Sakura imparted her thoughts on how she maintains focus and collects her energy by enjoying the company of others or appreciating the environment.
Sakura: "I was able to do nothing but knit for five hours straight in deep focus during our US flight. Turning off the switch and chilling is harder for me. I also do my best not to focus on myself only when we're performing."

Sakura: "Sometimes, I need to feel their rhythm, listen to the sounds around us, or get a feel for what's in the air to sync with the others."
