Due to this, a debate about whether the member should continue being the center became a hot topic among fans, with some stating that she should give it up.

Red Velvet 'Looks Awkward' If Irene Isn't the Center? K-Netz React

On February 21, SMTOWN's official SNS posted a photo of the girl group Red Velvet, who is one of the SM Entertainment artists who attended its family concert in Japan.

A two-day concert for "SMTOWN LIVE 2024: SMCU PALACE” was held at Tokyo Dome in Japan from the 21st to 22nd and was participated by acts TVXQ, Super Junior, NCT, SNSD Taeyeon & Hyoyeon, Red Velvet, aespa, RIIZE, and more.

After the performance, a commemorative shot was taken for each group, and among them, Red Velvet captured attention for their "strange" position.

According to Korean fans, they were confused at first since Irene was not standing at the center among the five members.
