On February 29, Red Velvet Wendy met ReVeluvs (fandom) through a fan meeting, "2024 B-day PARTY – WENDY [HAPPY WENDY DAY]," to celebrate her special day as she turned a year older on the 21st.

On this day, she showed her appreciation to her fans by doing various performances that flaunted her top-notch and majestic voice. Wendy also prepared special gifts, such as accepting requests to do viral challenges and songs!

But among the challenges she acceptsed, Wendy brought so much noise when she did Tyla's "Water" dance!

This viral challenge introduced the dance called "Bacardi," originating from South Africa, which requires a dancer to move her body by twerking and belly dancing smoothly like water flowing.

As K-pop idols are expected to have a "pure" and "innocent" image, only a few K-pop idols have tried this choreo, but only after altering the dance steps to avoid backlash, specifically removing the twerking part.

But not Wendy! Maybe, it's among the perks of being an adult, because she impressed fans by doing the "Water" challenge in the original choreo!

Clad in a mini halter dress, she garnered massive cheers from Luvies for her sultry entry for the popular Tiktok challenge.

When her video circulated online, Wendy received love and support from the fandom.

Many fans even confessed that, among the Red Velvet members, it's would be Wendy to do the dance as she's known for her angel and cute vibes — but they are not even complaining though!

The title track with the same name is a pop song based on the addictive band sound with a catchy hook melody and rhythmic guitar sound. It contains lyrics of "saying farewell to the past 'me' who lived according to people's standard and the process of finding the true 'me.'"
