On March 1, 2024, a post titled "An idol who got caught dating when his dating show is scheduled to start soon" was posted to a popular South Korean online community forum.

The original poster (OP) shared several photos of who appears to be TREASURE member Jinhyuk on a date with a Japanese woman. Korean netizens have dubbed the woman Mie-san.

The photos show screenshots from the woman's Instagram Story of her on a date. Though the man's face is not seen, several hints led netizens to conclude it was Jaehyuk. During an Instagram Story of the woman in Osaka, she is seen wearing a jacket Jaehyuk wore to the airport on his way to Japan.

She also shared several photos of their dates in South Korea. In one photo, a man's wrist is seen. His thumb and Cartier watch was immediately linked to Jaehyuk.

Additionally, Jaehyuk was seen wearing the same exact photo in a Weverse photo as in one of Mie-san's Instagram Stories. It is rumored the photo he shared on Weverse was taken by his alleged girlfriend.

International fans have garnered more proof. Some fans have sighted the two on dates both in Japan and South Korea, and the two allegedly have several matching couple items. International fans compiled the proof in a Google Drive, which has since been made private.

K-Netz React to TREASURE Jaehyuk Dating Rumors

While international fans remain supportive of the male idol, Korean netizens do not have the same favorable views.

It was noted that the group's dating show, "Shining SOLO," will air on March 3. The program was dubbed a "romantic survival" and will feature female contestants voting for the most charming member of TREASURE.

People believe that because TREASURE is not popular, the dating news will not hit big in South Korea. Despite that, there are still criticisms that he made his relationship status too obvious, and he should have been more mindful of the fans.
