On March 1, 2024, the popular South Korean entertainment news account @idolissue released a post concerning the pupper. According to the post, Hank and Lee Do Hyun's dog, Gaeul, are best friends. Following the post, fans hilariously joked that the two dogs are more than just friends—they are dating!

According to the post from @idolissue, the two dogs are close because they go to the same dog daycare. Many have seen the two dogs play and interact with each other. However, it is unknown if the owners have any sort of relationship.
