Despite being born into a privileged lifestyle, Donald Trump's daughter Ivanka Trump, who is pregnant again with her second child, has opened up about having a very strict childhood and thinking her parent's disciplinary skills have rubbed of on her.

Having a billionaire property developer father and a rigorous mother made Ivanka into the business savvy woman she is today.

"My mother [Ivana Trump] laid down pretty concrete guidelines and the concept of 'because I said so' was a totally viable option," said Ivanka to US Weekly.

With such an upbringing, the entrepreneur and mother is bent on teaching her daughter of 23 months Arabella fundamental life lessons.
"Arabella isn't even 2, so she hasn't thrown me the challenges of a teenager...but I have a feeling I'm going to be pretty strict," predicted the handbag, shoe, and jewellery designer who just kicked off her own perfume line.

Being part of  a big family and having three brothers [Donald Jr, Eric, and Barron] and one sister [Tiffany], pregnant Ivanka, 31, knows a thing or two when it comes to sharing. She and her husband Jared Kushner are trying to teach Arabella values at a young age, before her new sibling arrives in the Fall.

"We're navigating the sharing thing right now - I think we're, like, 70 percent of the way there," she said. "She's really good at telling me I have to share with her. She's less good about actually sharing back."

According to Ivanka, Arabella biggest hurtle is sharing food.

"She offers to share and then when you get close, she pulls it back and says 'no,'" the mom with one in the oven reported with a laugh. "Particularly when food's involved."

Growing up in a no-nonsense atmosphere, Ivanka ensures that she won't have patience with rotten behavior.

"The one thing I won't tolerate is her being spoiled or bratty or having poor manners," said pregnant Ivanka. "That's one area [in which] I'll be very strict."
