In an online community, former Apink Son Naeun drew mixed reactions from K-pop fans for the alleged change in her visuals, different from her natural beauty during her rookie days.

On March 13, an article, titled, "Why does Son Naeun look so different," became a hot topic on the online forum, Instiz.

In particular, a heated debate among fans and netizens sparked when the OP claimed that the female idol's facial features had changed.

Son Naeun Raises Brows Following Recent Photos

In the post, the original poster attached the recent photos of the former Apink member. Looking at the photo, some netizens agreed that she gave off strange feelings and vibes, especially in the mouth.

Netizens pointed out her overlip and speculated longer philtrum, piquing fans' curiosity if she got braces.

• "Is it because of her overlip?"
• "Was her philtrum originally that long?"
• "At some point, her lips... she used to be seriously pretty, so I don't know why she's altering her face when she doesn't really have to."

Fans then expressed their regret about how Son Naeun's visuals seemed to change every time, expressing frustration as they recalled how already pretty she was back in their debut days.

"Every time I see her, she seems like a different person."

"Her face just changes every time I see her."

"Is this the plastic surgery that is popular these days? Son Naeun used to be so pretty."

"As the time goes by, her face changes a lot. She's not the same Son Naeun that I knew."

"She just wasted her natural beauty."

"She just seems like a completely different person. If you didn't tell me, I wouldn't know that she's Son Naeun."

On the flip side, there are also Naeun supporters who defended the former idol, saying:

• "I feel like she's taking her photos from weird angles purposely. It doesn't give off the same vibe if you look at her Instagram compared to the first photo."
• "They said it was because she had a stye in her eye."
• "Leave her alone."
• "She looks the same to me though."

Son Naeun's Recent Activities

Meanwhile, Son Naeun initially gained fame after debuting as Apink in 2011. During their time, the group rose as one of the most iconic second-gen girl groups who left various successful tracks such as "Mr. Chu," "NoNoNo," "I'm So Sick" and more.

While becoming active as an idol, Naeun also entered the acting scene. She established her name as an actress with notable works including "Twenty Again," "Cinderella and the Four Knights" and "Dinner Mate."

In 2022, she unfortunately left her initial agency IST Entertainment and parted ways with her girl group Apink.

Under YG Entertainment, she starts anew as a full-fledged actress with popular works like"Ghost Doctor" and "Agency." She will work on a new drama with SHINee Minho titled, "Melo House."
