Back in November 2023, it was announced that Chungha signed with Jay Park's label MORE VISION after her departure from MNH Entertainment. Since then, Chungha has been actively promoting as a soloist, releasing the single album "EENIE MEENIE" and appearing on different shows.

During her appearance on "Joohyun's Thursday Night" (literal translation)," Chungha reveals Jay Park did something that moved her to tears.

Chungha Reveals She Cried Because of Jay Park

During the show, Chungha talks about signing with Jay Park's agency, MORE VISION. She revealed that along with signing her as an artist under her label, Jay Park also hired all the staff Chungha has been working with for a long time. She stated, "I had no difficulty adapting to the new situation. The directors, managers, and team leaders were all so nice to me."

Chungha recently recounted a touching moment that nearly brought her to tears.

She shared, "The manager from my company texted me, asking, 'Chungha, how about this?' I responded, 'This feels a bit overwhelming for this reason. It would be better if I had some time to prepare and could handle it later.' He replied, 'Okay. Thank you for letting me know. I'll take care of it.' It was so moving. I was just walking at the time, and I actually teared up. I felt so grateful."

Reflecting on the incident, she added, "The manager probably doesn't realize how much it meant to me. I'm deeply touched. I rely heavily on my hair and makeup stylists, managers, and dancers. Without their support, I don't think I could have made it."

Her eyes welled up with tears as she expressed her gratitude. With the ability to work with both new and old staff, Chungha tearfully thanked Jay Park for letting her work with the staff that has been with her all this time.

Besides her experience signing with MORE VISION, Chungha also spoke about her relationship with her I.O.I members.

She revealed that she and the members still get along well, and they even had a Christmas party together in 2023.

To fans' surprise, Chungha revealed she was able to see Kyulkyung recently (also known as Zhou Jieqiong or simply Jieqiong) and that they met a lot last year. Kyulkyung promotes in China, so it is hard for them to meet. However, they make sure not to leave her out. Whenever I.O.I members meet up, they hold video calls with Kyulkyung!

Besides her relationship with I.O.I, Chungha listed her favorite junior idols. She told the host, "I have so many favorites. I am a fan of aespa's Winter, ITZY's Yeji, STAYC's Isa, and LE SSERAFIM. Huh Yunjin, I love you. Your voice is amazing."
