On March 19, agency A2Z Entertainment officially announced that Ailee is currently in a romantic relationship with a non-celebrity boyfriend.

According to Korean news outlet STARNEWS, A2Z also revealed that the couple plans to marry soon around 2025, and disclosed that the groom-to-be is a businessman. Furthermore, A2Z shared that Ailee will address the news to fans as soon as she's prepared.

On November 12, 2020, Ailee was shown to be donning a gorgeous white wedding dress while smiling timidly. In the second slide, it displayed the soloist laughing along with an acquaintance. The post also included a caption, which revealed Ailee's playful side.
"Firstly, this must be shocking to my fans who always believed and trusted in me," Ailee shared. "I've been wanting to share this news for a very long time."
However, Ailee continued the caption, which offered fans a sigh of relief.
