LE SSERAFIM's agency, Source Music, has announced they will take legal action against malicious comments concerning the girl group.

Ever since LE SSERAFIM released "EASY," the girl group has been the target of negativity online. The girl group has been slammed for their live vocal skills during encore stages, while others claimed they were being outperformed by people who did the "EASY" challenge. Huh Yunjin was also recently under fire for drinking Starbucks amid the Israel-Palestine conflict.

Now, the company is taking matters into its own hands.

Source Music to Take Legal Action Against Malicious Comments Concerning LE SSERAFIM

On March 22, 2024, Source Music announced via LE SSERAFIM's official fan community on Weverse that they would be taking legal action against malicious comments.

They stated that they have identified a surge in comments that utilize malicious personal attacks that cross the line. The company stated that these people use anonymity to spread malicious comments concerning LE SSERAFIM. Currently, they are monitoring these posts and garnering evidence.

They are taking strong legal action against malicious posts that go against their artists personal rights, especially against their youngest member, Hong Eunchae, who is still a minor.

Their whole statement reads,

"Hello. This is Source Music.

We are actively pursuing legal action against individuals responsible for malicious online posts, which include insults, sexual harassment, spreading false information, malicious slander, and defamation targeting LE SSERAFIM.

Recently, we have observed a surge in malicious posts crossing boundaries, featuring personal attacks and anonymity aimed at our artists. We are intensifying our monitoring efforts and gathering evidence to address this issue.

Posts containing blasphemy, slander against the artist's character, sexual harassment, ridicule, and the use of abusive language based on false information will be subject to legal complaint. We are also documenting posts that aim to systematically create negative public opinion about our artists, even if they are deleted afterward, through real-time monitoring systems.

Given that the personal rights of our artists, including underage members, are being seriously violated, we are taking firm action against malicious posts across all channels, including social media and online communities.

Furthermore, we greatly value the contributions of our fans and encourage them to share any relevant information through the Source Music legal response account.
