4 K-Pop Idols Who've Been Involved in More Than One Dating Rumor: TWICE Jihyo, BLACKPINK Jennie, MORE!

With K-pop dating rumors running rampant, here are four female K-pop idols who were entangled in more than one dating rumor.

It is only the first half of 2024, but the Korean entertainment industry has announced several couples among celebrities. In the K-pop scene, aespa's Karina confirmed she was dating actor Lee Jae Wook. Among the actors, Lee Chae Min and Ryu Da In had their relationship revealed.

However, it is not usual to be involved in more than one dating rumor. However, unusual does not mean impossible, and these four female idols are the proof.

1. TWICE Jihyo

Jihyo's first dating rumor was back in August 2019. At the time, Dispatch reported that Jihyo was dating former Wanna One member Kang Daniel. It was revealed that they started dating earlier that year, and the two became close after an idol senior (sunbae) introduced them to one another.

It was confirmed by both of their agencies that they were dating. After a year of publicly dating, it was reported the two broke up in November 2020.

On March 24, 2024, SWAY released an exclusive report claiming Jihyo has been dating athlete Yun Sung Bin for around a year. They reportedly were introduced to each other through mutual friends and have dates at their homes, as they live minutes away from each other.

Their agencies could not be confirmed by their respective agencies, claiming it was their private lives, so they could not validate the facts.

2. BLACKPINK Jennie

Jennie has been involved in three dating rumors.

On January 1, 2019, Dispatch released a shocking report that EXO's Kai and Jennie were dating. After photos of them on their date were leaked, both their agencies released a statement confirming their relationship. However, less than a month later, it was confirmed that the two broke up.

In February 2021, Dispatch once again released a report claiming Jennie was dating someone; this time, it was her then-labelmate G-Dragon of BIGBANG. This time, however, YG Entertainment stated that they could not confirm the rumors as it was about the artists' private lives.

In 2022, it was speculated they broke up, but no public confirmation was made. That same year, several photos of BTS V and Jennie on dates were leaked online by a supposed hacker. At the time, their agencies remained tight-lipped on the situation.

In May 2023, the two were also seen strolling the streets of Paris together. After the video circulated, both agencies stated they could not confirm as it was their private lives. In December 2023, Korean media claimed the two broke up ahead of V's military enlistment.

3. EXID Hanni

On January 1, 2016, Dispatch reported that Hani was in a relationship with JYJ's Junsu. According to the publication, the two started off as fans of each other, and their admiration soon led to a romantic relationship. Soon after, JYJ's agency confirmed the two were in a relationship.

However, it was confirmed in September 2016 that the two had broken up. According to sources, they drifted apart due to their busy schedules.

In 2022, it was reported that Hanni is currently dating Yang Jae Woong and that the two have been dating for two years (at the time of the report). Soon after the report was released, Hani's agency confirmed the two were in a happy relationship.

As of writing, the two are still dating.

4. Girl's Day Hyeri

Back in April 2013, it was reported that Hyeri was dating H.O.T.'s Tony Ahn. This shocked many at the time, as the two have a 16-year age gap. After photos of their meeting were linked, it was confirmed that the two had been seeing each other since March of that year, but it was hard to call it a relationship at the time.

The two broke up in November 2013.

In 2017, it was reported that Hyeri was dating her "Reply 1988" co-star, Ryu Jun Yeol. After the report was made, both artists' agencies confirmed that they were in the early stages of dating and asked fans to look at them fondly.
