Earlier on March 23, netizens gathered in an online community to discuss which K-pop idols were the most searched on YouTube in South Korea.

Here are the Top 20 most-searched K-pop male idols of 2024!

1.    BTS Jungkook

Jungkook secured the top spot for being the most-searched K-pop male idol. As many fans are aware, Jungkook is currently serving in the military. However, that won't stop fans from streaming his performances, content, and releases on the platform.

2.    ASTRO Cha Eun Woo

Cha Eun Woo made his solo debut on February 15, with first mini album "ENTITY" and title track "STAY." The idol is also one of the most popular celebrities in Korea and his inclusion in the top 10 is no surprise!

3.    BTOB Lee Changsub

Changsub claimed No. 3 on the list, as the idol is also known for his solo music and group activities with ASTRO.

4.    BTS V

The No. 4 spot was secured by V of BTS. While all BTS members are all buzzworthy, V's presence on social media is considered formidable. Despite being in the military, V has released solo content, giving ARMYs something to enjoy while he's away.

5.    EXO Baekhyun

Baekhyun rounded the top five on the list. Earlier on March 21, the "BAMBI" singer gained traction online for singing the anthems of South Korea and the United States at the MLB World Tour Seoul Series 2024.

6.    NCT Haechan

Haechan claimed the sixth place due to his content with NCT.

7.    BTS Jimin

Jimin made it on No. 7 according to sources. The idol is on military duty, but he has also released both group and solo content online.

8.    SEVENTEEN Wonwoo

Wonwoo of SEVENTEEN made it in eighth place. On YouTube, Wonwoo's presence is strong due to how much CARATs admire his talent, charms, and visuals. Aside from his official content with SEVENTEEN, there are also countless fan-made compilations and edits of the idol.

9.    SHINee Taemin

SHINee's youngest member Taemin is a well-known figure and performer in the K-pop industry. He's not only loved for his dancing skills, vocals, and charismatic aura, but also for his funny personality, which are all contributing factors to his presence on the platform.

Felix's stage performances are quite the rave among STAYs and the K-pop community. However, his appearances on variety shows and other content from Stray Kids also play a role in his traction online.
