After THIS idol gave fans random lotto numbers, his fandom was surprised after actually winning, thanks to his "prediction." How much did they win?

On March 30, EXO Xiumin became a hot topic on various online communities and SNS after numerous accounts claimed that they won the lottery after using the numbers randomly given by the singer.

Most of the winners came from the celebrity's fan meeting on March 23, and with the amount that they got from winning, Xiumin basically gave the tickets to them FOR FREE!

EXO Xiumin 'Predicts' Lotto Winning Numbers — How Much Did Fans Win?

On March 23, Xiumin held his solo fan meeting, "2024 XIUMIN BIRTHDAY FANMEETING," to celebrate his 34th birthday with EXO-Ls and Elsas.

The event took place at Yes24 Live Hall where he met with fans in two sessions, one starting at 2pm, and the second one at 7pm.

On this day, there was a segment where he had to read post-it notes written by fans. Randomly, one fan asked Xiumin for lotto numbers.

Reading this, he jokingly said:

"It's a secret that I said it. I told you, but I think I'll be arrested if you win. Is it six numbers up to 45?"

Xiumin then randomly sang in order:

"4, 11, 13, 18, 32, and 20."

At the time, he just drew laughter and said:

"I don't even know what I just said."

While it was supposed to be a joke, a lot of EXO-Ls and Elsas actually tried their shots and upon buying lotto tickets using Xiumin's numbers, a flurry of proofs was posted by fans that they actually won the fourth place in the lottery, thanks to the idol.

The lottery's winning number was "11, 13, 20, 21, 32, 44, and 8." Xiumin predicted four numbers "11, 13, 20, 32" among them.

The fourth prize is 50,000 won ($40) and as some applied for the ticket with the same number five times, they got as much as 250,000 won ($200).

With this, fans are calling Xiumin the "Idol of luck" or "filial idol" for spreading good fortune among his fans, especially to those who attended his fan meetings.

Eris emphasized that since the ticket to attend his event costs 66,000 KRW ($50) and his lotto number earned $40, he practically gave their money back.

Fans also made hilarious comments on social media, such as:

• "If you like idols, will they feed you? No, they will let you win the lottery."
• "Xiumin returned the price of the fan meeting."

Xiumin Recent Activities

Meanwhile, Xiumin, who debuted as EXO in 2012 under SM Entertainment, starts anew as a soloist with his new nest INB100 (led by EXO Baekhyun).

He started his full-fledged solo activities by successfully holding a fan meeting on March 23, and will continue his schedule as an actor through his new drama, "Heo Restaurant," which will be released through global OTT within the year.

EXO Xiumin is also confirmed to become the sole MC for the KBS audition "MA1 (MAKE MATE 1)," a global idol debut project that depicts the process of 36 ordinary everyday boys running towards their dream of becoming idols.

In this show, Xiumin plans to convey not only his artistry but also sincere empathy and realistic advice.

"MA1" will be broadcast for the first time in May.
