However, during a listening party to promote the album, fans were enraged with the agency for experiencing multiple errors. According to fans, the listening party included a purchase link of BTS V's "FRI(END)S" instead of J-Hope's "NEURON."

Aside from the wrong purchase link, fans also pointed out that the date and time of J-Hope's listening parties were incorrect. But after noticing the complaints of fans, the agency eventually fixed the mistake.

BIGHIT MUSIC then released an apology online:

"[NOTICE]

We express our sincerest apologies for presenting an incorrect download link during yesterday's Stationhead listening party.

Stationhead confirmed and corrected a technical mapping error, but we deeply apologize for the inconvenience.

We are also expressing our deepest regret for posting a schedule image with an error. Moving forward, we will do our utmost best to put forth preventative measures in advance.

We will extend our cordial invitation once more to join us in celebrating and supporting J-Hope's new album, 'HOPE ON THE STREET VOL. 1."

Here's how fans reacted in a forum and social media platform X (Twitter):

  • "Freaking funny, every time a member is releasing a song, they are apologizing for something."
  • "No, but did the employees enlist with the members? How are they apologizing every time a member releases a solo?"
  • "They just apologized not long ago and are apologizing again."
  • "Didn't they apologize for V's Listening too? The fans must be f**king furious."
  • "Just like any other company, they have also become so money-minded that they are even willing to tamper with the quality of the product they are producing."
  • "It's not like they are some new company, they have been in the business for quite some time, yet they still can't function properly."
  • "Are they sabotaging the other members or is it incompetence?"
