Top 10 K-pop Artists on Billboard's 1st-Week World Albums Chart: LE SSERAFIM, TWICE, More!

The month of April is just starting, but several K-pop artists have already made their marks earlier than expected across music charts. Billboard has officially announced the newest rankings for its World Albums Chart, which was for the week ending on April 6.

The list contained artists from around the globe, but numerous well-loved names from the K-pop industry, alongside their albums, have also been placed on the list due to their musicality, streams, sales, and many more.

Featuring Top 10 artists who secured spots on Billboard's 1st World Albums Chart in April 2024!

1.    LESSERAFIM - 'EASY'

 

The first World Albums Chart for April was dominated by LE SSERAFIM in the K-pop category. The quintet made their spot in No. 2 with the third mini album "EASY," which garnered success due to its songs and performance in the charts.

2.    TWICE - 'With YOU-th'

 

TWICE's "With YOU-th" was released on February 23, and in the newest World Album Chart rankings, the album secured third place.

3.    NewJeans - 'Get Up'

 

 

 

NewJeans' second mini album "Get Up" also made rounds on the list. According to Billboard's findings, the album successfully claimed the No. 4 spot.

4.    Stray Kids - 'ROCK-STAR' & '★★★★★ (5-STAR)'

 

Stray Kids is the only artist on this list to secure two spots on the first World Albums Chart for April 2024. Billboard revealed that the boy group had claimed No. 5 with their eighth mini album "ROCK-STAR" and No. 15 with their third full studio album "★★★★★ (5-STAR)."

5.    ENHYPEN - 'ORANGE BLOOD'

ENHYPEN's fifth mini album "ORANGE BLOOD" managed to snag No. 6 on the rankings. The album was released on November 17, 2023.

6.    BTS - 'Proof'

 

In the list, BTS was successful in claiming the No. 7 spot with their anthology album 'Proof." The album, relentless with its momentum and success, was released way back on June 10, 2022.

7.    (G)I-DLE - '2'

 

 

The ninth place was claimed by (G)I-DLE's second full studio album "2." The album is also known for having the viral pre-release track "Wife" and the bop title track "Super Lady."

8.    ILLIT - 'SUPER REAL ME'

 

ILLIT's "SUPER REAL ME" is the debut mini album of ILLIT, one of the most anticipated K-pop acts of 2024. The album also contains the addictive title track "Magnetic," which is currently on a roll across social media due to numerous dance trends, fan edits, and many more.

According to the list, the album successfully took No. 10.

9.    BTS Jimin - 'FACE'

 

Jimin's solo debut mini album "FACE" secured the eleventh place on the World Album Chart's first weekly rankings for April 2024.

10.  TXT - 'The Name Chapter: FREEFALL'

 

Lastly, we have TXT, who took No. 13 with their third full album "The Name Chapter: FREEFALL."
