On April 18, second-gen K-pop icon Ryeowook became a sizzling topic on the web community theqoo when OP brought back the idol's reply to a so-called ELF, who gave him unsolicited advice.

In particular, the OP shared screenshots where a so-called ELF's hostile comment to the idol can be read, along with the star's response to the said fan. The "fan" wrote:

"Ryewook~ah~ please go on a diet. Are you unable to manage yourself because you are dating? Why are you making money from fans then? Just leave the [group] and open a café with your girlfriend. I'm a fan of ten years and this is just so pathetic."

According to the netizens, the tone of the "fan" doesn't sound like they are concerned at all; rather, it was extremely rude and malicious to Ryewook.

With this, the icon, who is known for his sharp tongue and unfiltered words, didn't waste time to hit back at the self-proclaimed fan.

"Ah, so I looked pathetic to you. You also look really pathetic to me. I can't believe you like me for 10 years. It's scary. Because to me, it looks like you didn't really like me for 10 years but rather, you liked the thought of you liking someone. I hope you look upon yourself."

He went on:

"And also, I earned money not because of you. I earned it due to my hard work. You won't be able to imagine all the moments of how hard I worked for my path.

Don't talk recklessly. Don't live your life hurting someone else. It's such a waste of energy. Don't love anyone either. Live alone forever. Just don't harm anyone."

While there is a debate, claiming that it is true the idol earned money because of his fans' love, people still think it isn't right to be involved with his personal life.
