During a press conference for her new drama "Uncle Samsik," SNSD Tiffany drew mixed reactions after some fans barely recognized her after her speculated weight loss.

On May 8, a production presentation for the Disney+ original series, "Uncle Samsik," was held at the Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas in Samseong-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul.

Director Shin Yeon Sik and the star-studded cast were present during the presscon, such as the main characters Song Kang Ho & Byun Yohan, as well as supporting characters including Jin Ki Joo, Seo Hyun Woo, Oh Seung Hoon, Joo Jinmo, Yoo Jae Myeong and SNSD member-turned-actress Tiffany Young.

On this day, the idol actress expressed her delight to be a part of the work, confessing:

"I fell in love with the script and the story. I also wanted to join because the character was loveable. I am so honored to be able to work with my seniors, especially Song Kang Ho."

As a rookie, Tiffany expressed her thoughts about it, saying:

"It's actually my first drama production presentation, and I'm a rookie (as an actor), so I tried to watch and learn as much as possible. It was also a fun point to see my senior’s fashion sense every day.”

Amid nervousness, Tiffany gladly posed for the journalists present at the event on that day, flaunting her elegant look like her character Rachel Jung in a white bodycon dress with sparkly silver details at the top part. She then completed the look with white heels and wavy long hair.

When her photos spread online, SONEs (SNSD fandom) and Young Ones (solo fans) filled her with overwhelming compliments for her beauty which is comparable to when she was in her early 20s.

However, Korean netizens who saw her photos have different feedback, raising brows over her alleged visual change and weight loss. They even wondered if they were really seeing Tiffany.

Internet users can't stop talking about her apparent longer face that made her body frame uneven, as well as pointed out that her beauty points including her eye smile and lips were no longer the same.

Malicious comments also poured in, claiming that she's becoming like BoA and Taeyeon, who recently faced cosmetic enhancement allegations due to their "different" facial features.

• Her face gets longer and longer."
• "Losing weight like this just made your head bigger than your frame."
• "What's wrong with Tiffany and Taeyeon? They both look like they haven't had a proper meal?"
• "SM female singers are all becoming more and more similar."
• "Can't even tell if this is BoA or Tiffany."
• "She used to have beautiful eyes and lips when she debuted. But now..."
