MYTEEN to Reportedly Have Group Reunion Through THIS Event
After 5 years since the group disbanded, fans are expected to see MYTEEN as a group in 2024 once again through their reunion in a fan meeting!
Earlier on April 25, former MYTEEN Lee Taevin initially announced that he would be holding his solo fan meeting, "PIT-A-PAT (Tab in you) in Seoul" on May 11.
Based on the information in his post, it will be held twice at 1 p.m. KST and 6 p.m. KST at Ehwa Women's University Samsung Hall.
On May 8 then, IOK Company, Taevin's label provided more details — and fans couldn't contain their happiness after the announcement of the guests!
According to the company, MYTEEN will have a mini-reunion through the fanmeeting, joining Lee Taevin as his guest!
As a quick background, MYTEEN debuted in 2017 under MusicWorks comprising Lee Taevin, Chunjin, Eunsu, Kookheon, Shin Junseop, Song Yuvin and Han Seul.
During their active days, they gained decent success and formed a small yet solid fanbase for their songs, "Amazing" and "SHE BAD." Unfortunately, Taevin left in 2018 to focus on his acting career.
Despite that, the group continued to promote and earned even more support after Kookheon and Yuvin joined Mnet's "Produce X 101," but in 2019, the group sadly disbanded after the leader Eunsu wrote about it on his Instagram.
Immediately after, MusicWorks confirmed the news, and (You'ths) fans were truly disheartened as they were expecting to see a group release after Kookheon and Yuvin finished the competition.
Since then, they focused on their solo endeavors, with Taevin and Junseop pursuing their careers as actors. Kookheon and Yuvin pursued their paths as soloists while Chunjin, Eunsu and Han Seul left the spotlight and returned to their ordinary lives.
With this reunion, fans are truly teary-eyed that they will finally see the group once again and reminisce about their flower path with them.
As good news for international fans who won't be able to meet them in person, Taevin also announced that the fanmeeting will be broadcast live through Hellolive TV.
Along with MYTEEN dancer Honey J will also appear as the special guest, raising fans' anticipation.
On the other hand, Lee Taevin became a full-fledged actor after leaving MYTEEN. He made his name known for appearing in the hit drama, "Penthouse."
Since then, he also entered the BL industry and cemented his fame as the main lead of "Love for Love's Sake."
