Landlords From Hell Plead Guilty: Tenants Held At Gunpoint By Police After Owners Report Trespassers

Kip and Nicole Macy, known as the 'landlords from hell,' told workers to board up tenant's windows from the outside while they still lived there and falsely reported trespassers in the victim's apartment, causing him and a friend to be held at gunpoint by a police, CNN reports.

The 'landlords from hell' wanted to evict several tenants from their apartment building beginning in 2006 and cut holes in the floor of one victim's living room with a power saw while he was inside his apartment, published court documents reveal.

But now the 'landlords from hell' pleaded guilty to felony charges of residential burglary, stalking and attempted grand theft this week, the San Francisco District Attorney's Office said Wednesday, according to CNN.

"The actions of these defendants are so outlandish and brazen that it sounds like the plot line of a horror movie," District Attorney George Gascon told the news network.

"He actually saw the saw coming up and trying to saw through," Assistant District Attorney Kelly Burke told CNN affiliate KTVU.

The 'landlords from hell' went to extremities in attempts to kick out their tenants.

Nicole Macy created several fake e-mail accounts to terrorize the lives of tenants who were angry at the landlord couple - she pretended to be one of the victims and fired the lawyer who was representing the tenant in a civil case against the landlords, CNN also reports.

The landlords even cut their tenants telephone lines.
